Im trying to apply my nameservers to the isnic.is but it doesn't take them

    i get

The nameserver NS1.MYDOMAIN.COM is not correctly registered in DNS (The PTR RRset for xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx does not include the name NS1.MYDOMAIN.COM)

    Code (markup):
    and the requisites are:

    Nameserver Requirements

Nameservers hosting Icelandic domains (.IS domains) must comply with all of the following requirements:

    1. Nameservers must allow connection to UDP port 53, and to TCP port 53 as well.
    2. Nameserver must be consistently registered in DNS, i.e. its own A resource record must be available and a corresponding PTR resource record as well.
    3. Namesever name can only contain ascii letters, digits, hyphen and periods.
    4. For nameservers within the .IS zone, the following also applies:
    1. Hostname can not be numeric only (i.e. 123.isnic.is) (See: RFC1035 RFC1123 RFC1912 ).
    2. The full name of the nameserver (FQN) must include the hostname (i.e. the canonical name of the machine the nameserver is running on).

can this be set up on vps whm? if so.. how?

Is this in WHM? What control panel are you running?

Have you assigned IP's to your nameservers at your registrar?

Based upon the error message it appears that you need to have reverse DNS setup for your IP address to point to the name server FQDN. Depending upon who your hosting provider is you may have to open a ticket to have them make the changes to the PTR record or you can do it through your hosting control panel.
