DNS Propagation

    Hi,

    over a week ago i changed to vps hosting, wanting to use my own nameservers.

    I changed the ns's with my domain registrar, created a dns template & followed this tut;

    the regsitrar can't/won't update my dns records, and my extremely unhelpful hosting company wants $15 to fix it.. pfft :confused:

    anything anyone can suggest to help me get my site online is much appreciated!

    If the registrar doesn't allow you to setup a private dns like ns1.yourdomain.com, then nobody can help you including your hosting company. I would transfer the domain to another registrar.
