    Hi,

I get these errors on my .co.uk domains, it does not ping sometimes as well, it works on and off and just when i think its finally working about 30 minutes later it stops working again. It's a big nuisance and is definately not doing my site anyfavours, can someone help me try to resolve this issue?

    Address Not Found
    Address Not Found

site.co.uk could not be found. Please check the name and try again.
The browser could not find the host server for the provided address.
    * Did you make a mistake when typing the domain? (e.g. "ww.mozilla.org" instead of "www.mozilla.org")
    * Are you certain this domain address exists? Its registration may have expired.
    * Are you unable to browse other sites? Check your network connection and DNS server settings.
    * Is your computer or network protected by a firewall or proxy? Incorrect settings can interfere with Web browsing.

    When Pinging:

"Ping request could not find host (domain) Please check the name and try again."

    NSLookup

"Unknown can't find (domain): Server Failed"

my .com's work tho but uk's seem to give problems...

Perhaps it's a routing problem between you and your website. The next time your website is unavailable to you, go to www.alertra.com and type in your domain name. If all locations from alertra.com come back with positive results for your site and you are not able to connect your site, then there is likely a routing problem between you and your website.

Another way is to go to your website through a proxy when you are not able to connect to your site. If the proxy can connect to the site but not you, it is likely a routing problem.

It's DNS related for sure. However, your not going to get any help if you don't post some domains that are effected in this thread. Check your DNS Zone files and make sure no recent actions have been made to the domain by doing a WHOIS.

*EDIT* Could also be routing, but we can't know for sure without doing some digging and look up's on the domains effected.

    The domain is
    http://www.muslimshops.co.uk
    Code (markup):
right now it seems to be working but then later on it will stop working. I don't really get what to do with the DNS zone files, all i know is that its pointing to my name server. It works now and then stops working later so it must be the routing, and earlier it said "error" on frankfurt but later it said ok, could that possibly be the reason?

right now this is not working
    http://www.islamicbookshops.co.uk/
    Code (markup):
but it seems to work without the www.
