have you already registered the name with netword solutions? I don't use network solutions, so can't give you step by step guide. All you have to do is add a CName record for your domain to the blogspot spot domain and remove any A record if there are any present.

Although my root domain name is not pointed directly to my blogs, I have a few sub-domains pointed to blogs.

Go to NetSol and log into your Account Manager. Go to Domains > Manage Domain Names, select the domain you want to edit and then click Edit DNS > Manage DNS Records. If there are any records under IP Address, I believe you want to delete them. These are A Names. Then add a Host Alias for 'www' to point to ghs.google.com.

If you need help beyond this, NetSol has 24 hour a day technical support and should be able to help you.
