    Hello,

I need help on my domain.

    I have a domain Silenthill-rs.com

I have a dedicated server with 1&1 Internet Inc,.
The domain was bought from 1&1 and it's pointed to godaddy's name servers.

I bought a hosting account from GoDaddy so host a website on that domain.
The dedicated server is linked to a game, and I want to use this domain as the server ip. Is there a way I can make it both work.

Let's say the dedicated servers IP is 1.1.1.3
I bought a dedicated IP on the GoDaddy hosting account also and let's say that 1.1.1.5

I want it so that if someone, enters the server ip as "silenthill-rs.com", it would link to the dedicated server. And if they put the silenthill-rs.com on the browser.

Is their a way to do that?

I know I have to set like a Cname/alias or something like that.

Please don't say host the site on your windows server because I don't want to do that.
If you know how to do this, tell me. Please

    Thanks in advance.

I changed the "@" hostname to the dedicated server ip to point to the game.
