DNS frustration

I changed my domain name servers 36 hours ago due to a hosting change. My domain name is registered on 123-reg.co.uk so I made the settings accordingly. When I check from dnsreport.com, it gives some errors and the logs show that people used the website yesterday. I send an email to 123-reg, which of course wasnt answered(Pipex reasons :)), yet.

Today, i dont see any visitors which is impossible for a site with 1500 uniques a day. Can you see my new server when you type my domain name(mybestdate.co.uk), there shouldnt be any messages on the page saying:"Our servers are being upgraded. There can be downtimes until 23/11/2006. Sorry for any inconvenience, this may cause you." as this is the old server that I didnt take off until this ends.

I'd appreciate your answers and your opinions and if i shall contact 123 today again?
    Thanks a bunch

    Thanks a alot.

Still, old site loads here, though. probably the isp's cache is still not flushed for homechoice and at work(pipex i guess) as well.

There's your browser cache, your PCs cache, your ISP's cache and the root servers' cache. The first two you can flush.

I flushed the PC cache with ipconfig /flushdns and ping the domain with ping mybestdate.co.uk which returns the old server ip address. Am I missing something? Doeas actually ipconfig operator flushes the dns cache, it is saying: 'Successfully flushed the DNS resolver cache.', but I became suspicious with everything :)

Probably your ISP, tomorrow it should all be fine. Try your website via a proxy and you'll see it's live.

Yes, I believe so. Thanks a lot for the help. I will have a look from a proxy, if I can find an open one at the company :)
