Have you created nameserver first? And then point your domain to the created nameservers.

    And then create DNS template.

I have created the nameservers in my WHM and I have also created them via Godaddy.

Just assign the IP address to craphumor.com and then create ns1.craphumor.com , ns2.craphumor.com

You have to do from your godaddy account not from WHM.

    Hello there,

Your DNS server is not responding on the IP's that you have assigned to them. Check your configuration to ensure it is correct. The IP's are responding to pings, which is good. If you cannot get if figured out, feel free to message me, and I can take a look at it for you.

    Regards,
    Chris

Just had a similar problem with new cloud server. Can't determine how to set up the cloud server to do the dns. Also I only have one ip and godaddy wants at least 2 name servers.

I got it to work, sort of, by using a free dns service linking my domain name to the ip on the cloud server and setting godaddy name servers to the dns service.

    Still not happy with that.

Will be working on this problem, probably, the rest of the day.

I have learned much more about dns than I ever wanted to know...
