    Hi to all,

This is first time getting such a problem with my site. I have a site and most of the time I am unable to open it because whenever I try it shows "Oops! This link appears to be broken" and with this "DNS erro-can not find server".

    My questions are:
    1. What is exactly this DNS error?
    2. What is the reason behind this error?
    3. Where should I go for solution? Should i talk to my hosting company or networking engineer?

I am having airtel connection and this error is really going to hurt my SERP as well as my site traffic. :(

    Need help...

You should check your DNS health, and if there are issues beyond your control, you will need to contact your host. I recommend using this site:

Just a minor issue. i think your ISP dns server is down.

    1. Post here the dns error report from http://intodns.com
    2. check whether your site is working through proxy - http://hidemyass.com

If your site is working in proxy, nothing to worry.

I also use airtel, and sometimes most sites hosted in US/other countries dont reach or way too slow. So i use opendns or google public dns as DNS server IPs. You can change this in your computer network settings. see this: http://corpocrat.com/2008/09/29/fast-website-loading-with-opendns-alternative-to-isps-dns-servers/
