Not sure where to post this.

I've recently moved servers (Friday evening), most peoples internet service realised the change within 24 hours got onto the new server with ease.

But it's now Tuesday afternoon and there are still 10-15 people that are still getting the site on the other server. Is this normal? Is there any way to fix this or do I just have to wait?

Have them update their internet cache (Ctrl+F5) otherwise find out what part of the world they are from, propagation finishes in different areas before others and diff. parts of your site might function first before others.

The cache thing didn't work and most people that visit my site are from the same area (within 30 miles of each other in most case).

What is the TTL (time to live) for your DNS records and was the zone version number incremented when you made the change?

The TTL value is the maximum amount of time that the records will remain in cache. If that time has lapsed, the latest entries will be fetched. If this isn't happening, then the DNS isn't configured correctly.

I've no idea, I hadn't changed server previously. How do I find that out??

All I did was edit the nameservers and most people were redirected within 24 hours. There are a couple that are having problems though, still.

if your site wasn't visible period, i would check the records with the host. However this is not the case, are the few troubled users able to access any part of your site? What do they receive?

I don't understand what you mean exactly??

It's been a few since I changed servers and my old site is still getting 15-20 visitors a day, I've got in contact with some and told them to view the site via a proxy whilst things get back to normal but its taking an awfully long time.
