    Has anyone here actually gotten thier site listed in DMOZ? I have tried many times with no joy!

    I have no luck for being listed with them too. :) But I have to patient since DMOZ is a well known for a longest approval directory. Some website can be listed within a few days but some website may take 6 years before being listed. It depends on how active and behavior of moderators under each category.

    yes I have gotten listed my websites on DMOZ, actualy they take a lot of time to place your website, they have ton of website requests, but if they find ur listing spammy then there is no luck for you

    One suggestion in regard to DMOZ....tread lightly. The editors there are certainly over worked and tend to react badly to accusations of impropriety (which is understandable).

    I submitted about 6 months ago and am trying to wait patiently, which is hard to do considering the DMOZ link is one of the most valuable on the web, and free.
