I don't think thousands of man-hours is an exaggeration at all -- ever look at the number of people trying fruitlessly to get info at Resource Zone?

Egads. Just treat it like any other directory: read the guidelines, write up your submission, submit it, forget about it. Don't lose sleep cos you don't get added, it's obvious nothing you do will get you listed faster unless you're buddies with an editor.
