But you didn't, as usual you only provided clues. Vulcano provided it after I was out of time, real life happens and we have to deal with it.

Where did I say "it is not DMOZ editors job to help anybody" ...

    From my previous post:

Now that you have the links and anything else that you might need about these sites, any idea when these sites are going to be removed?

Are you still waiting for the result of Admins discussions? I understand that those discussions started in the last millennium, any chance that there will be a result before the next millennium? ;)

You haven't addressed this yet. When did I ever say that?

Nope, no idea when someone might remove them. I was willing to yesterday but you were busy playing games. Sorry gworld, I'm not playing your game with you. This is serious and should be treated seriously.

Sorry gworld, wrong again. We didn't even have Admins in the last millennium.

I understand but the same discussion has been going on since last millennium inside DMOZ. Different names and titles but the same result. ;)

Again, you didn't answer my question.

Just so you know, different people have different brains. Their memories are not the same and decisions made by others who are long gone are not the sins of the present Admins. They (the Admins) have not been discussing this as long as you claim.

Actually, compostannie is just trying to make gworld back up the claims he is making. So far he has been unable to do so. That's not semantics.

Okay. Let me ask the same question then: What is going on and when can we expect those sites to be removed?

DMOZ is an organization and it is the organization that is responsible. What happens if there is a new admins next year or they call them something else, everything starts from beginning and nobody is responsible again? DMOZ as organization has been dealing with these questions at least since 1999, how long does it take to understand that somethings are just wrong?

The important question as minstrel asked, what is happening now, how long the Admins need to come to conclusion that pedophilia and molesting children is not a good thing?

I already answered the question quite clearly a few days ago:

Nothing has changed, and when it does, I'm sure you guys will hear about it. The Admins will discuss the issue until they are done discussing it. It might end 3 minutes from now, it might be 3 weeks from now. You are welcome to not like the answer (I don't like it either), but it is what it is, so there's no point to keep asking the same question over and over...

Now that that's cleared up, maybe gworld can concentrate on the questions that compostannie has asked him.

No, but very probably not before we get the result of the admin discussion.

    Yes, we are.
You are informed wrong. The discussion about these sites/categories started less than a month ago.

Adult is adult. Make Sodomm and Gomorrha be free from children at least.

    Sane People.

Adult does'nt hurt people it gives pleasure and extreme pleasure to child molesters...
While religion has a worldwide issue that hurts people of each individuals indifference in belief they have a thing in common caled Allah, God, Buddha etc. and they teach values to their family and children.

Too much discussion. Too much debate. Its only conscience and the right thing to do. Its all about children....

Yes I do. I'm not convinced that you do, however.

    Post #1470 says:

I'm not asking about a few days ago. I'm asking about today.

    Post #1470 also says:

and at THAT point I asked my question:

Now, I recognize that English is not your first language, but do try to keep up...

And the answer was already given
and are trying to create a policy that will cover all sites of this nature in the future so that we don't have to go through this again

The issue(s) that are still contentious are...???

We don't know, they are discussing it privately. It's as simple as that. If you want us to tell you more, we'll have to make it up. You don't want us to make something up and lie to you, do you?

Is this an Anti-Dmoz thread again or Dmoz really does not takes any action over this kind of links ?

    Confused...

DMOZ has already taken actions and now is dicussing on the highest level inside DMOZ what to do with the remaining links and how to prevent such things in the future.
So the answer to your question must be the other option :D
