Why did you break the guidelines that you said you had read when you submitted the site? http://www.dmoz.org/docs/en/add.html Just leave it and come back in a couple of years and check again. It can take several years for a review for a possible listing, but DON'T re-submit and hope you have not be blacklisted as a spammer.
When you move a site to the correct category you too are breaking the guidelines according to the link you are giving... so why should he have to follow them when you don't have to reject or remove a site when it's submitted to the wrong category? Yeah, yeah, silly question, but it's still evidently a double standard Then again, maybe if the ODP was actually helpful, maybe would would have a better understanding of how it works? Maybe if editors would take time to be kind and communicate a bit more rather then just trolling and only pointing things out when rules are seemingly broken things would be better all the way around? Maybe if editors actually stood up and did the right thing they would have no need to post Anonymously.
You mean like instead of just talking about Volunteering start doing actual Volunteering job? fastreplies
Is there any importance/respect remain for DMOZ among webmasters and search engines? I think we should get backlinks to all other quality sites rather to waste our energies waiting for Mighty DMOZ editor to work properly.
