You would if you looked at the categories where they're listed.

 

But since most people can not see it by themselves, they have only your word for it and considering your colorful history in this forum, that is practically worthless.

Well unlike me, jim"noble" is active in many forums (I suppose part of running a DMOZ business) and quite well known on the web master forums and I have hardly seen anyone having high opinion about him with exception of the usual editors who try to get a higher editing privilege by praising him.

 

I suppose an editor that successfully weeds out affiliates, mirrors, editor applications based upon dishonesty and stuff like that will ever win a popularity contest.

I dont think any webmaster opinions will worry Jim one little bit.

 

Talking about editors praising him. How much karma do you reckon snooks will get for this last post?

 

I did a search for "squidoo.com" on DMOZ and found these results. With all of the 2+ years of waiting time people have been going through, it's beyond ironic that this handful of lenses made their way into DMOZ (hmmmmmmmm.....)

pr not important, the editor seems very selective, so you need to make unique article.........

PR is not important but content and your back link is very important.

 

Since when has backlinks had anything to do with a DMOZ listing?

 

PR is does not matter to approve the link in DMOZ. If there don’t used spam link detail ,I think you can do it.

 

I think, if your site have good quality content and pr than it will be approved.

 

Good PR? Have you looked at the ODP recently? MANY sites don't have any, or any worth bragging about.

 

It has been said before on this thread, but worth repeating, PR counts for nothing when an editor is listing a site. I would not even know where to find out what the PR was of a site.

Unique content is what we look for, but a suggestion to us is only a suggestion and it may take from a few days to a few years before a review for a possible listing will take place.
