DMOZ submission - tip for getting listed

    Hi,
    Is there any successfull DMOZ submission approved recently.If then what is your time period when you have submitted and approved.
    Also is there any eligiblity to get listed.Will it be useful if i get listed in dmoz?

    Does DMOZ even matter anymore? Look at the sites that show on there for any given category - they old and crappy for the most part.

    Here's my tip. Find a DMOZ editor and bribe him to get your site listed if it really means that much to you. Most of those guys are full-of-themselves wankers and their support forum is dead.

    No Tips, Nothing to do for. You just have to submit once and than only you can do is wait and watch. My one site was submitted there before 4 years. Till I am waiting for their reply lol. :)

    ya i too submitted my site 2 months back. till now it has not listed. i dont know what factors they will consider to list in the DMOZ

    If you want to listing in Dmoz the then submitting you must careful about your category and the content you are going to add, must be as per the Guidelines of Authors:Dmoz

    Make Regional Posting and Dmoz also provides abcd wise posting so also try that, i seen many site listed under more than 2 or 3 category so it will be work try with it.

    The only DMOZ success is via a regional business submission. The editors there is still doing their job.

    But DMOZ, like WIKI no longer matter.

    DMOZ takes too much time and you can obviously sense from this thread that they are annoying people. They will die soon if they keep on going this way.
