Call me old fashioned, but I thought ass kicking was contrary to the Queensbury Rules of Scavenging. Damn. Now I have the munchies...

Good game... Here's another one.. http://dmoz.com/Society/People/Men/Web_Rings/ Last update: 19:28 PT, Monday, April 1, 2002 - edit
Another one .... http://dmoz.org/Arts/People/R/Ricci,_Christina/Image_Galleries/ Last update: 18:42 PT, Saturday, May 22, 2004 ... in all fairness, it's been awhile since anyone's paid attention to her, so maybe no one has created a new site for her - maybe I should?
http://www.digitalpoint.com/tools/suggestion/?keywords=christina+ricci&country=us 4000 people a day can't be left to go begging! results table updated
Wow -that's good info, I will have to add some pages to freshdames.com for her or maybe even create a subdomain ... wonder if I could get it listed at DMOZ? Very cool points tracker you've got going on this thread sarahk!!
Ouch, why I have no point for "Business : Transportation_and_Logistics : Maritime : Ports : North_America : United_States : Georgia"? I should have 13 points instead of 6. I think Sarah is cheating on me, she won't let me win. [edit] Ah, I think I get it. So if the category is updated points are not awarded? Then I should have 0 points. [/edit]
That was a nasty edit they did I was wondering if there was a consensus that you only lose half the points if the editors get you. But you can still get points for suggesting sites.
I suppose that image can also be added to: http://dmoz.org/Business/Transporta...e/Ports/North_America/United_States/Delaware/ Last update: 19:13 PT, Monday, December 21, 1998 http://dmoz.org/Business/Transporta...e/Ports/North_America/United_States/Michigan/ Last update: 19:37 PT, Monday, December 21, 1998 Descriptions of sites listed in these categories could be better: http://dmoz.org/Computers/Software/Operating_Systems/Unix/IRIX/Companies Last update: 14:33 PT, Sunday, September 20, 1998 http://dmoz.org/Computers/Software/Operating_Systems/Unix/IRIX/Programming/ Last update: 2:05 PT, Tuesday, August 11, 1998 http://dmoz.org/Computers/Internet/Protocols/RWhois/ Last update: 2:01 PT, Tuesday, August 11, 1998 http://dmoz.org/Regional/North_Amer...ocalities/D/Delta/Recreation_and_Sports/Golf/ Last update: 23:29 PT, Monday, August 10, 1998 Site description is too short , and I suppose there is an image of the mascot playing golf. Same here http://dmoz.org/Regional/North_Amer...lities/L/La_Junta/Recreation_and_Sports/Golf/ Last update: 23:27 PT, Monday, August 10, 1998 And here http://dmoz.org/Regional/North_Amer...ocalities/L/Lamar/Recreation_and_Sports/Golf/ Last update: 23:27 PT, Monday, August 10, 1998 BTW, the "oldest" categories I've found in the RDF dump file are from August 10, 1998. I doubt there is any "older" than that.
Not nasty at all sarah, I spent about 20 minutes looking for another site for that category. There were none so I changed the mozzie image figuring the 20 minutes put into making sure the category was as up to date as possible counted for something. Also, all the categories in item 83 were updated, why did you say I need to check them? Especially Amarillo, Texas. I spent over an hour on that category and all its subcategories. Gtech even sent me a thank you pm, so I'm confused.
I think I've been hanging with my 8year old daughter too much. Nasty means nasty but with a bit of grudging respect added. The items in #83 had already been ticked off on the points - it's just the items with the ssshhh smilie that still give points to the player.
This seems like a no-brainer for an easy update: http://dmoz.org/Science/Technology/Space/NASA/Astronauts/Shepard,_Alan/ has not been updated since: 16:59 PT, Tuesday, March 23, 2004 and seeing how this is a NASA category, a NASA link would seem like an easy fit? NASA: Alan B. Shepard, Jr. http://www.jsc.nasa.gov/Bios/htmlbios/shepard-alan.html Biographical data Another possible: Academy of Achievement http://www.achievement.org/autodoc/page/she0int-1 Interview with the first American in space. And of course: Wikipedia: Alan Shepard http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alan_Shepard Outlining the Naval, Astronaut, and post-NASA career.
"Nasty" - I've never downloaded the rdf and seen what's in it. Looks like you've got a good lead Muchacho! Points table updated
Just in case someone want to take the lead from me. I downloaded the rdf file (the one with the structure) and run this commands: gunzip structure.rdf.u8.gz cat structure.rdf.u8 | grep 'lastUpdate>1998-08' -B 3 | more Code (markup): The results looked like this: <Topic r:id="Top/Regional/North_America/United_States/Colorado/Localities/L/Louisville/Recreation_and_Sports/Golf"> <catid>16021</catid> <d:Title>Golf</d:Title> <lastUpdate>1998-08-11 06:28:05</lastUpdate> Code (markup):
I happen to live in the next suburb over from Louisville, Colorado ... and I'm fairly certain that the single listing in that category - Coal Creek Golf Course - is the ONLY golf course in that town, so this DMOZ category is argueably accurate and complete. This course winds through a housing development and I've played it several time ... heck, even bounced a golf ball off the sliding glass door on a house when I sliced it off of #2.
