    Hi,

I was about to submit my site to dmoz.org when I spotted this at the bottom of their page

"To grant Netscape Communications Corporation a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, publish, copy, edit, modify, or create derivative works from my submission."

can someone explain exactly what that means, because I'm not about to give anyone rights to do anything with my site!

    thanks.

They didn't say your "Site" they said your submission which means the "Name", "URL", "Email Address" and description you use in your submission.

    Right.

Not that we DMOZ editors make much use of the descriptions submitted anyway. ;)

By the way -- there's a whole DMOZ forum here, where this really should be moved to.
