    bobmutch, this is a very practical bit of advice!

    Truthfully very few web designers/webmasters write objectively; it isn't a skill that is valued in the profession, and may be a detriment to their success.

    As a result most of the titles and descriptions on site suggestions to dmoz are unrelenting marketing hype; they have to be overlooked or dismissed before an editor visits the site.

    Any technique that results in an objective, accurate, title and description on a site suggestion will be greeted with surprise, relief and gratitude by a dmoz editor. I'm not saying it will get your site LISTED, but it will certainly get your site noticed :)

    Final Expense Leads/pontarae:
    is an extremely junior dmoz editor in a category your site probably doesn't belong in attempting to be helpful, he certainly isn't an ODP authority.
