Well dmoz takes time to get listed the sites but 1 year is so long so might be you did some mistake at the time of listing your website, ok i share you some tips just try this for your next time dmoz listing:

    * concentrate on submitting website in the most appropriate category for example if your website is a mobile phone guide for UK users then the most specific category is Regional/Europe/United_Kingdom/Business_and_Economy/Telecommunications/Mobile/Guides/.
    * unique quality content - Ensure your site is content rich with highly targeted content.
    * Make your site for the user not the search engine.
    * Ensure your DMOZ listing information is error free and conforms to the Open Directory Editorial Guidelines. I have provided a copy of the editorial Guidelines below.
    * Have Patience it will help alot :)

DMOZ moderators are usually affiliated somehow and won't allow new submissions as easily as before. Its very hard to acquire that link nowadays. I would just move on.

In my view the key reasons sites don't often get listed are:

    1. There isn't an editor for your category - in which case if you are honestly able to devote some time to the category and act professionally why not apply to become a category editor (please don't do it just to get your own site listed - that will probably backfire on you).

    2. You are submitting to a very busy category which is swamped and understaffed (again, if you're prepared to commit the current editor/editors might appreciate the help)

    3. Total failure to read the submission guidelines. If someone submitted a site and has fallen short an editor will edit and include. If someone clearly hasn't read the guidelines why should they give their - voluntary time - to re-write it for them.

    4. Your website simply does not meet the criteria for inclusion.

This is not a search engine, it is a directory edited by humans, be courteous to the people who give their time to it by doing your best to submit within the guidelines. Read the guidelines on submissions, follow the rules, and if there's an editor for your category there's every likelihood it will get in - though don't expect it overnight.

You need to make sure that there is an active editor for the catagory you are submitting your site to. You will need to be patient and try many many.... many times.

    Hi,

Actually Dmoz.org is authorized directory of Google, so of course it will take time to approval,so there is only one option just submit and wait.
