That is Article 1, Paragraph 1.

Article 1, Paragraph 2 states, "A DMOZ listing has no fixed value in the sense that it designates anything of any use whatsoever outside of that directory, but is used in contradistinction to the state of NOT being listed in DMOZ."

Men can bake cookies too. We can also capture rodents and insects in the kitchen and transport them out of the kitchen - solo. Beat that! :D

I didn't say the website wasn't good; it looks very professional. It depends how you define "better" though. DMOZ is concerned not with looks, feel, navigation, or any number of aesthetic qualities. It is concerned only with reliable unique information, original sources no matter what they may look like. Thus a free-hosted blog with personal reviews of sports events is considered infinitely "better" than displaying AP reports for DMOZ purposes.

    Hi, thanks for your reply:

The original content is included (buried?) amongst the AP news columns. I also have the news feeds from AP on main pages (they're easy to see... but probably not helping regarding your point). Using your advice, I'll try to separate the "AP" from "original" as much as possible.

I'm also in the process of partnering with sports columnists and bloggers which will help me isolate the "original" content more and more moving forward.

    Point well taken. :)

    Thanks again for your input.
