Well if you bothered to read the sticky thread at the top of the forum, or any of the numerous other threads, you would know and understand the position.

Why? There is no need to re-suggest your website and doing so could be counter-productive because a later suggestion overwrites any earlier one.

Could being the keyword there. As it is NOT a queue as the editors here have made PERFECTLY clear, and as submitting more then once is PERFECTLY fine now (see here for why I am saying that) submitting more then once COULD help you.

Thanks makrhod for clearing things up!

May I suggest that your desire to want a DMOZ link is completely misplaced?

I assume you believe this link will bolster your SEO - because you will get ZERO human traffic. There is no reason other than SEO to want to get a DMOZ link.

You will be disappointed. DMOZ links haven't bolstered SEO since 2002.

Google & Co are on to the fact that DMOZ is a decaying collection of very old, often broken links, and is about the most stale and sclerotic source of material on the internets.

Why? Seriously, how could you think that? Because you can't get in? That's just silly...unless you were leaning to the something, as yes, it's certainly something!

Just because you get a DMOZ listing does NOT mean you will get traffic. It does NOT mean you will get better SERP. It does NOT mean you will get a higher PR. It does not even mean you'll get listed in all of the DMOZ clones...

Saying it's like the holy grail, is like saying that hot chick turning you down is Mother Teresa.

What were you expecting? You have deliberatly broken the guidelines that you agreed to that you had read and understood when you submitted. How do you think sites that do that should be treated?

How do ya know he broke guidelines? Must have been the "With every method under the sun" bit eh? As it certainly wasn't the "i have tried multiple category's / websites" part.

In my defence there.. i meant legit methods.

Ive tried for loads of different sites, different categorys, rewritten descriptions, tried different email addresses etc over the years.

    Never any decent feedback.

I think once in fact i got an email saying it did not meet guidelines.

What i have found though! is that the editors of decent catagorys / profitable catagorys will not submit there "competitors" or people who do not pay. So all in all id say DMOZ is corrupt at present.

Before submit you web site in DMOZ Directory, You need to follow DMOZ web directory rules. If you can follow all terms and conditions then definitely accept your site. I've already submitted my web site and approved by DMOZ.
