Getting listed in DMOZ takes time so first try to get links from other directories but dont submit your site to more than once in DMOZ.

I have submitted loads of site to Dmoz without any luck over the last 5 years.

I don't worry too much now. It seems its run by corrupt editors anyway.

It can take anywhere from 1 day to years for a suggestion to be reviewed. That's not due to anyone being corrupt. Its due to the volunteer nature of the workers processing the suggestions. There is nothing to worry about and there is nothing to wait for.

Suggest your URL once and forget about it, DMOZ listings won't solve any problems. It will be one extra link, no more and no less.
