hahahhahahahhahahahahhahahah and your username is seo!!! OMG too funny couldnt help it, some sites take years to get approved or deleted, dont bother, submit and keep your mouth shut and hope you get accepted if you don't its not a big deal.
Please put me in contact with the people you know Btw, is dmoz accepting new submission ? there was a long period where they didnt.
There are so many self-styled SEOs that don't research, don't keep up with the times, that just repeat what they've been told, uncritically. If you look up how to promote your website, improve your rankings, you'll find a great many pages that still to this day, repeat the old chestnut that a Yahoo or DMOZ listing is important. When you find someone still preaching the value of DMOZ listings, it's a sure sign this person does not know what they are talking about, and I would view anything else he or she parrots with healthy skepticism. This is not a person that thinks like a scientist, and seeks evidence before believing something. In fact... if you want to know if your SEO is on the ball... ask what he thinks about DMOZ. If he's for it, you know you are getting 2003 advice that's not worth paying for.
Don't ya just have to love the noobs? 4000 threads about this subject, but still they ask and ask and ask and ask and ask and ask . . . . damn . . . inside voice, inside voice.
hey man Just just shared my views with all, why you writing this type of stupid lanuage. I will report to digital point.
Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I am not sure about the former. Albert Einstein
You started it by asking a stupid question. If you were really an SEO then you would know the answer. If you are just pretending to be an SEO then most forum etiquette requires you to check previous threads to see if a question has been answered before - in this case probably thousands of times before. Can I recommend you ask this sort of question at www.resource-zone.com where DMOZ senior editors hang out (they don't get to laugh too much these days). Then come back and tell us how you did there.
I had my camouflage site included in 40 days, submitted in may, approved early july. It depends on category, website, editor, etc, etc, etc. Just submit and forget, you will never know if you are still in que, or you were declined, so submit once and don't worry about it.
I have submitted my site 6 months ago, but never get listed until this time. Don't expect too much from dmoz editor. They are volunteer.
Don't worry, the best thing to do is to leave a note on some paper or do a little short video clip so that you can leave it for the next generation to check if your listing has been approved or not. It may go on for quite a few generations though. Hopefully the earth will still exist by the time it gets approved. lol In other words, you have to do the waiting game where you just submit and forget about it as it may never get added. I have been waiting for nearly 5 years for 1 of my sites and 3 for another and 2 years for another 2. I just don't bother now and just wish I didn't waste my time in the first place.
