??? That's the last thing you want to do. Unless you want to be completely ignored. Its not like the listing submission just disappears after 2 weeks. Your best bet is to list it and wait. If it gets listed, it does. If it does not, well.. it does not.
i would say Submit to DMOZ and forget it. They take forever to get the site listed. Concentrate on SEO and backlinks more. And keep creating quality content
Don't you think you're risking getting completely neglected by DMOZ by resubmitting the site? They clearly state that it might take from a couple of weeks to a few months for a listing to be approved and they hate multiple submissions.
Don't care about DMOZ if not you waste your time. I can rank my site on top Google without listed in DMOZ. WHile other sites on DMOZ and rank nowhere in GOogle ^_^
If after waiting a couple of years and your listing has not appeared, consider being an editor in your niche and help speed things up.
I have never had a site listed in dmoz. I have given up on them if everyone did the same they would sink quickly and their directory would be full of old stale links.
Thanks jsk for this nice information. Really It's take more time to listing. so submit in dmoz and forget it.
Read the sticky at the top of the page, it tells you there from a few days.........to a few years.....to get a review which might result in a listing.
To be fair, I would submit it anyway. I've just done it, and it took me about ten minutes........if it doesn't get listed, then hell, I've only lost 10 minutes of my life, and if it does get listed - then it's another back link for me. Sometimes it's about weighing up how long things take to do - if it's not long, then what have you got to lose? Happy DMOZ'ing Rich
