Being an editor for DMOZ is a thankless job. It's time consuming and demanding. All you get is flack from staff and from submitters. I was an editor for several years. But the best advice I can give is to look over the listings in the category you are wanted to get listed, learn to understand the format of the category descriptions, then submit your listing in the same format without attempting to bolster your listing, using such phrases as "the best", "most unique", etc. Keep it simple and keep it neutral. I would pass over listings that needed a complete re-work for entries that were worded correctly. In a nutshell, don't make your listing look or sound like an advertisement, lest it will be shuffled to the bottom of the barrel.
Whats the link to your site and what DMOZ cat do you wanted it listed in? I can guide you in creating an appropriate listing...but you have to submit it. An appropriate listing will make it easier for editors to review and can sometimes lead to faster approval.
Did you actually bother to read through this thread or did you just jumped in with the same question that has been already answered, SY
