first suggest your perfect category than use professional title, description and other extra information like email, name don't use any keywords and stuffing in submission
If you want to list yourself in dmoz, look for the category that relates to your website and then click on to "Suggest URL" at the top of the page.. Example: http://www.dmoz.org/Arts/Literature/
just browse the directory and submit under the right category. read the submission policy if you are not sure how to submit properly. submit you site and then forget for a year (might take a year to get approved, if ever)
I think useless to submit in dmoz,My domain age is about one half year old,but still i haven't listed in dmoz. I think i have selected right category and also submit in a right way.
