Dmoz is absolutely impossible. I tried, I waited, I gave up!

A long time ago I had a couple Dmoz directory listings, long since gone now.. It was hard to get into Dmoz directory at that time and now it seems even harder as many have mentioned. If you want to give it a try go for it and forget it and move on to promoting your websit in different forums and directories.. Someday you might appear in Dmoz if their overworked editors can find the time.

I also have been waiting for about 1.5 months and still nothing. Now I have other sites I need to get listed there and I am wondering if they would list more then 1 site for me and if I submit another one now if it will effect getting the origional site listed.

To be honest I usually tell most clients not to bother with DMOZ. It would appear to be a busted flush as they say

Again: DMOZ submission is something you do and forget. There's no way you can influence it, so stop worrying about it and do some extra link-building instead. If you are finally listed, that's great, if you are still not - never mind.
