I guess this is going to be the second time I am advising people here in DP not to go with such services. Nobody can guarantee DMOZ listing, unless you are an editor there. Even if you are and you get approved, reports have been made about editors harassing site owners for money for continuous listing (shoemoney reported it once) Your best bet is to do it yourself and wait. Search for a similar site/blog and see where it is listed. Then add it to the same category. Some categories can take longer time as compared to others. I have seen sites included after 2 years!!! Just amke sure you follow the guidelines and that your site is not SPAM... If your friend is an editor at DMOZ.. oh well...
