I just want to know whether DMOZ is still accepting site submitted by all of us or we have to go through an editor.

You can either submit and hope to get lucky or pay a "senior" editor and for sure get listed. :D

And they wonder why admins are called the godfathers and are referred to as don's, communications guidelines as omertà while meta forum is called Comune di Corleone. :D

Its been more than a year and still no luck.

Is it really possible to get listed in DMOZ by paying the sr editors?

    Correction...

You can submit and hope that an editor (finds and) likes your site or

You can pay a senior editor and hope it's one that is actually corrupt as opposed to one that just wants to have you reported.

It's really a catch 22 trying to get listed, so stick to the rule (pick one)
    • Submit and forget
    • Forget to submit

They pretty much have the same effect after all ;)

In scriptlance there is a function called reviews that shows former clients opinion, you can always deal with "senior" editors who have a good reviews for being corrupt. :D

I should have made the link to scriptlance an affiliate link. Since posting that link here, the number of people who want to buy a DMOZ link is just growing there. :D

You'd have gotten an infraction for posting an affiliate link. Maybe put one in your sig?

I am too lazy to do it but you or anyone else is welcome to do it. Who knows, may be the "senior" editors will register here, add the link to their sig, so they can collect both income from affiliate link and the payment for the job. :D

How fast do these people at scriptlance get their site listed in DMOZ after these bids?

Maybe we should go to the resource-zone and give the link there and watch the party :D

And the number of red noted never-to-be-listed sites is growing. Many of those offering bribes, and nearly all of those who appear to be offering their services are readily identifiable.

I do feel vaugely sorry for those folk you have have been sucked into Gworlds world view and who have been duped and/or had their sites permanently banned. I guess that it what happens when you trust a Self confessed coward like Julian.

Are you still kissing every ass you find in DMOZ, so you can have couple of lousy affiliate links and sell some links? How low can you go when you even defend pedophiles just to earn couple of bucks? There are so much works out there, you don't need to crawl on the ground all the time and lick every boots that you see.

For those who are not aware of the history of nebuchadrezzar, the great DMOZ editor, here is the link for nebuchadrezzar, the supporter of pedophiles and here is nebuchadrezzar, the supporter of corruption.

I recommend to every one to read the above the links to get a clear idea what kind of person this DMOZ editor is and judge by themselves who they like to believe, the truth in front of their eyes or the words of a low life like nebuchadrezzar.

It is funny how everyone can see the truth with exception of nebuchadrezzar, is it because the corruption is profitable?

Is it really a surprise that someone(s) at DMOZ would be corrupt and try to make a few extra bucks selling links?! I wish they would become like other directories and allow you to buy the links if you want, rather then waiting until hell freezes over to get listed.
