6 years. I've tried for 6 years now to get a site into DMOZ. Every 3-4 months I'd submit again and nothing. Lately when submitting, the typed code at the borrom of the form would't go through. Help, I'm not geting any younger. pedalcarplus.com
They use your site name for the anchor text, or at least should. The description has to be just that, a description. Not a series of keywords, though, erm, that page does have a pretty wide range of keywords. Either way, congrats on getting in.
That is your site name, as that is what's shown in the logo at the top left of your page, and as it matches your address, there should not be any question about it being the site name. That would be like Shawn saying that this isn't digital point but "webmaster discussion board" as people don't search for digital point. It's not the ODP's fault that you named your site the way ya did
There are plenty of directories, paid and free, that allow you to stuff the description and or title with key words, (you can see them with a search on Google) but basically ODP is not built to appeal to search engines, its a directory and you are listed in the category that people will look for if they want your type of wallpaper, with the site title, as seen on the site, and a description which describes, without hype, what can be found on the pages. Before you suggest your other wallpaper domains, you might like to re-read our submission guidelines and note the prohibition on suggesting related websites. That you've spread your website over multiple domain names doesn't make it eligible for multiple listings .

How clear do you want it Site title = site title on the site Do not offer other sites you have that do wallpaper Site description is what there is on site so that a surfer can have a good idea if they want to go there. No hype and not stuffed with key words You can find other sites that will accept, paid and free, keyword stuffed titles and descriptions, it is not what we do or want. Not interested in PR, SERPS or how a search engine will deal with our listing, we list in a directory for surfers to use, if search engines pick up, fine, if not fine. Our criteria is unique content and content rich sites, not presentation or design. Can't make it any clearer, sorry if you still do not understand.
Probably you want to ask if Anonimously is staff member? No, Anonimously is editor like many others. When a lot of persons here explaine you something, will be better to spend some more time in reading and thinking, not in writing. What from Anonimously post is not understandable to you?
