Dmoz is the way for google ..

    it is best way to get listed very fast in google is to get listed in dmoz first because google takes dmoz as a back up directory and also it is a very high pr link

    No, it's one of thousands of methods. DMOZ can take easily 12-15 months to get added to.

    A link from any high PR site will get you indexed fast. If you have your own network of websites it's very easy.

    I know people (including me) who have been waiting years to get in dmoz.

    I agree it far harder to get in to DMOZ than google. Most of my sites get indexed in google within days.

    Just build some quality backlinks and you will get in google, however, I have been waiting over 8 months to get listed in DMOZ.

    Acceptance of website in Dmoz is now too low. Don't think about dmoz too much.
