I submitted about 2 weeks ago, today i have had 2 incoming links from Dmoz Editors and one from Dmoz forum.

Do you think this could be a good thing? Or is it gona be bad news?

If there was a hit from the DMOZ forum, then it I assume it means an editor is unsure about it and has asked a question.

BTW, if its the site in your signature, then I doubt very much if its going to get a listing at DMOZ

As explained elsewhere, absolutely no conclusions can be drawn from a DMOZ referral in your visitor log.
It may have been a visit from a human volunteer, but the reason for that visit is completely unknowable, and does not provide you with any useful information at all. And if the visit was from an automated process rather than a human, you can deduce even less. :)

Hmm, ill just have to wait and see. Got another visit today.

I was told you arnt told if you are accepted or declined you just have to keep checking, is this true?

Surely they let you no if you've been accepted.

Yes, this would be very reasonable ... IF the directory were a listing service and IF editors relied on suggestions made by other people.

But as explained many times before, it isn't, and we don't. :)

Suggestions are welcome, but certainly not essential, and reviewing them is not a priority for any volunteer. So it makes no sense to waste time telling someone that their suggestion is not listable (which they could easily see for themselves), or that it has not yet been reviewed. How on earth would that help?

... hence my reminder about people not wasting everyone's time suggesting sites which they can easily see for themselves do not meet the listing criteria.

Sure. They have a very easy way of communication to tell you when it is accepted. An accepted site is visible for anybody in the directory.
