HI all I know all you surprise with this title i am also surprise to see these title in a freelancer site. People wants guranteed listing and many people give gurantee to listing. here is the one url where this type of project posted http://www.getafreelancer.com/projects/Web-Promotion-SEO/Get-site-into-DMOZ.html I seen there 18+ project about dmoz and 40+ close project so its is surprising me So how they do that ? Dmoz editor help on this ?
It's tricky to guarantee a listing. An editor can list any site but if the site is of poor quality or unrelated to the category, another editor may come along eventually and remove it, if it's extremely bad it may be removed sooner. If the category is quiet and only has one editor it may remain listed for years. An editor may be banned on suspicion of accepting bribes but there is really no way to prove it - if an editor accepts bribes only for quality sites and adds other quality sites for free it's unlikley they will be suspect. And even if they are banned they can just sign up for another account. Also, since this isn't a legitimate service, I wonder how many people pay and never see their listing or their money again...

Is it possible to get a listing to a specific area of a site in DMOZ, or will they only list the domain itself?
It would be interesting too conduct a private, anonymous poll of completed projects on these sites. I'd like to know how many project posters paid for a DMOZ listing versus how many actually received one.
