    How long to get approved to this directory? It's now 6months since I submitted my site to dmoz and it is still not approved. Any idea?

    It may take years who knows.
    You have to submit and forget about dmoz.
    whatever you do - you have to do it before submitting DMOZ.

    It is depend on who handle the particular category, some owner approve it fast. It is slow, because those editor are freelancer, they review those listing according to their free time.

    It is hard to say, depend the category take a look in the category footer the last update, if it was updated today, I am hopping it is updating day a day.
