    Well,
it's been at least for three days now. I have heard that's a normal case for DMOZ - informational overload.

There are actually less and less roar about DMOZ listings among webmasters today. The reason is quite clear, it's just a listing that's all.

You can find just so many DMOZ listed websites not appearing on the first pages of Google for their specified keyterms.

With Yahoo! joining MSN and Google in supporting the NOODP tag, I feel the authoritative nature of DMOZ is waning day by day.

I Belive it helps but you dont need to be in panic while waiting for it.
Dmoz have alot of mirror sites, so, just sign your site to there, the waiting time is very long :( , so, when it will come, it will :)

I signed all of my clients to there.

I've notice that Google are very slow at updating their directory from the DMOZ data. My site was accepted into DMOZ a few months ago (after 1 year), but it still doesn't appear in the Google directory. It seems that Google aren't so bothered about it any more...

Because it is one of the few things Google tells us to do in the Webmaster Guidelines ;)
