Some stained glass websites webmasters create multiple versions of their sites and expect the editors of DMOZ to list them in the directory.

This is obvious to an editor that links from the directory is the sole purpose of some of these websites that are very quickly made up, in a hour or so, with little or no original content.

Some I have seen contain the very same images and text as each other. They are sort of like clones. And the whois is nearly always identical, and can you believe it, they are sometimes on the same server too.

I'm glad that DMOZ has "human filters" to prevent this trick from happening.

I'm sure hutcheson and other editors will agree on this.

Hutcheson is one of the most able editors I know of at DMOZ. He/She is not a filmstar, so far as I know, but judging by the way hutcheson knows the DMOZ scriptures regarding editorial conduct, it would not surprise me if indeed we have been talking to an actor or actress of some sort.

Their is no way a clone stained glass website will pass by this editor. No possible way. Unless it is a quality website.

    Popotalk,

He/She is not the same rank as Document Type. But yes Hutcheson is indefatigable and an omniscient editor.

Hey whats up. You write like I do, you don't use emoticons like I don't. You watch horror movies as I do. So I thought you might be Chinese like me. I like dragons. They should always face east, towards DMOZ, far east as possible towards the orient. Your dragon is false in color and looking the wrong way.
    :D
