Dmoz clone & Directory submitters

    Hi
    Would appreciate your comments on following:

    1) Dmoz clone
    How about dumping dmoz links to create a dmoz clone directory (maybe call it mozdef :D ) ? Would the PageRank jump or google would just ban it? Or webmasters would avoid mozdef and stick to the real McCoy dmoz?

    2) Automatic Directory submitters
    Do those fully automatic Directory submitters allow you to add your own list of sites to submit in addition to the ones they have?

    1) Dmoz clone---> i think there are lotz of directories like this so its hard to succeed in that.. NO google wont bann it and i think Webmasters doesn't give much importance to DMOZ now..
    2) 95% + Auto Submitters doesnt work ( Yes, they will allow you to add your directory list there by some contract, i hope ---> not sure aboout this)

    I saw a service where they help you submit your url to directories. But it is not free. cant remember the site name.

    My DMOZ clone has been running for over a year now. Google loves it. At the peak it was getting 600-700+ uniques a day. Mostly from Google.
