Even when paid....what part of that are you not following?

Yes, I am so focused on promoting my own sites, that I've listed all of them into my sig, and have submitted them to directories. Though, it's pretty clear you do not have the slightest understanding of where I will sell links. But again, you overlook the fact, I do not hide the fact that I sell links, and you overlook the fact that DMOZ does hide the fact that they do.

Even the psychos know that some little dogs bark worse than they ever bite. :D

Having people like you around that very very "occasionally rub the brass the wrong way" is actually good for psychos as a show piece that there is some kind of democracy and opposition in DMOZ. They will have their harmless opposition without any danger of influencing any real change and you will have your promotion and links. :)

This is a somewhat bizarre comment from someone who claims to be a big shot editall who has repeatedly stated that he is too scared to rock the boat because he might lose his precious login.

A somewhat bizarre comment from someone else that's not using their editor name here on DP.

First an apology, you were right, Q, about the multiquoting tool having a bug, but I should have checked the post more carefully, sorry.

If any of you had really read the editall threads, and I have, you would know that Rob was being sarcastic about it being a few times, you could describe him as a big pain in the ass when he believes something aint right. I know that pains are not removed unless they are also extreemly discourteous and rude at the same time or I would have gone too, but not using my editor name means you will have to trust me. ;-) Perhaps you were not there long enough, Q, to spot that and perhaps gworld was not there at all.

My editor name is no great secret, most know who I am. You will forgive me for not sharing with your fellow psychos here. I don't want Jude turning up on my doorstep looking for a throat to cut.

Can you just tell me why you think that? Point me to anything in the internal threads that does not suggest that Rob has started some balls rolling, which will be seen from the outside later. Or are you just on the outside?

LOL. Let us know when the balls actually get somewhere. I suppose everyone can be happy if the balls just keep rolling without actually getting anywhere. :D

The first step for any change is to close the loopholes and remove the possibility for abuse and rob himself in this thread admitted that this is not acceptable to editors.

Why not pop into the editall thread, you are one you said so, and just check up and bring the news back here?

Gworld does not pop anywhere. Something to do with his being scared that he will lose his precious login.

Is that like the 'precious' that Gollom lost? and now gworld stalks the ODP editors to try and get it back from them?

Still nothing to say but your usual "change is coming", "change is coming", "be afraid of AOL".

How about you post when you actually have something to say? :)

Ok did I missed where he proved he is a dmoz editor? Anyone can claim to be a editor for any directory, newspaper, or any type of site, etc.

Nebby, Anon, and G are all editors ... because they said so. Would you like to be an editor too?

The funny thing is, the three of them go at it thread after thread to prove it to themselves. I say it's funny, as it's like pot & kettle telling each other that the rest don't belong on the stove.

the one thing we are sure of is that Q isn't or he would re-list his site.

windtalker can you prove you are not an editor?

But I don't mind if you believe me or not take your choice, like Q seems to want to take a choice at my being male or female. I care not a whit about what you believe.

You post Anonymously and want us to believe all that you say, yet look at what you are saying. Tell me the three of you are not after each other to prove account status. Now point to where I have ever claimed to be an editor when I was not one.

Yeah, turn this back on me, now tell Windtalker that my site was removed because I called DMOZ out on this paid issue and nothing more...as if that is not the case why would a site that goes down for 15 minutes get removed while there are still thousands of other sites listed that have been down for what seems like years. Like the CNN archive...

Yeah, that 404 on my site sure came in handy for the editing team.

Why should I expect you to believe anythingQ? And to repeat myself in a different way, I don't give a stuff whether you believe anything I say or not, whether you belive I am an editor or not. Whether you believe things or not does not actually change the reality.:)

If you didn't care, you'd stop replying. Though it's obvious you don't read anything I've written.

That is a quote from the ODP guidelines... tell me how it does not say what Rob says it says :D

Paid listings are OK as long as the link is worthy of being listed. But the listing is still a paid one, is that right? is it wrong? I really don't care, but the guidelines do say that paid listings are a possibility.

You can not call that one of my theories, it's in the ODP guidelines.
