DMOZ and Google Directory

    When does Google Directory update its listings so it includes all the sites from DMOZ? I'm listed on DMOZ but not the Google Directory.
     
    If someone posts a solution, use the "Best Answer" link in their post to pick it as the best answer.

    Is submitting to Google the same as submitting to Dmoz? I submitted my site to Dmoz. I went to google directory and saw the Dmoz logo. I was afraid to submit it to Google afraid to get my site placed lower in the queue at Dmoz.

    It wasn't two years ago.
    One of my sites in is DMOZ and it has only been in the Google directory for like 1 year now...

    Ok if you want specifics, Google last pulled data from DMOZ on 19th February 2006. I said "probably" 2 years ago because i couldn't be bothered looking it up, so there you go 17 months ago then.

    I think Google uses the DMOZ as their directory submissions....not their own directory 'coz everytime I want to add a site. the DMOZ is inside the Google frame is the one i always popping... They have merged their system that's what I think...:)

    Same here. G use Dmoz databse. Update every now and then.
