    Hello,

I wonder if ther is any problem if yesterday I added my normal (HTML) link to DMOZ and now I want to add a RSS link from the same site.

    HTML link was www-mysite-com

    and RSS link www-mysite-com/rss/

I don't think there will be any problem , but I want to be sure :D

 Are you worried about having submitted the same site to DMOZ twice? If so, don't... there's a better than even chance that neither will get accepted anyway and I doubt that submitting the RSS version will change that in any way.

I'm not sure, though, that DMOZ even does RSS listings...

If you look at a sample suggest page e.g.

    http://www.dmoz.org/cgi-bin/add.cgi?where=News/Media/Broadcast

    It has a line

What type of link is this? Regular  PDF  RSS  Atom

Just choose the RSS button when suggesting the URL. It's not spelled out anywhere but submitting both the RSS and regular HTML links is ok.

I stand corrected. So that means that webmasters have four options for submitting sites and four ways to be ignored, rather than the old boring plain vanilla way? :D

Yes. Around here, they sometimes refer to lotteries as "a tax on idiots"...

I heard it referred to as "Tax on bad math skills".

But hey, if people don't feel the small time it takes (and no money) to submit to the ODP is worth the potential pay-off, no-one is forcing them to.
