    There was some copyrighted content on my forum and someone filed 4 DMCA notices against our site (via Google). Google said they will remove the pages from their search, and we have also removed the content. Should I do anything else? Like file a counter notification?

    Remove the content from the site. Those pages will be deindexed so you may want to change URLs if they don't get reindexed or rank anymore.
