DMCA Complaint Question

Hey, well a while ago I had this video hosting website. Sometime's users would upload a movie or a tv show, or something copyrighted. When I got a dmca complaint i'd remove it right away and all. The thing is I've sold the site, and the new owners changed the contact email and everything but I'm still receiving dmca complains (a few a day). It gets quite annoying and the guys submitting the complaints clearly just have a semi automated process and havn't bothered to update the contact email for that domain. I've sent them countless emails about it and they arn't changing anything. Can I sue them or something for spamming my inbox day in and day out lol?

just bounce their mails. Or change your email address.

Confused why you have sold the site/ domain but retained an email address on the domain?

That aside, either follow ContentBoss' advice or alternatively, if it is coming from the same senders each time, just set up an email rule to auto respond to their emails advising them of the new email address and/ or forward the mail to the new address and then delete the mail.
