Hi all, what you think of my web design site www.djtheropy.com? i like to keep my design clean & user friendly, hopefully that is what i have achieved. i was inspired by web 2.0 designs, but wanted to keep it graphics less and let css do all the work. the site is not completly finished, but not far from it. any suggestions to make it better? thx
I would suggest making the homepage text smaller and maybe not using a template for a website design business...
I think it looks nice and clean, you have done a good job designing that from scratch. The text size is OK IMO as we don't all want to have to squint on every page we view. Simple logo that looks good, yeah, I like. I have just peeked at the site, but from my 1st impressions it looks good.
For your whole layout, I would make the font size larger (so it looks more professional), they look too large at the moment. Also, for the blue bar on top, I would change it to a different color.. maybe red? And you can add some red/pink to the hearts on your logo for more color
Erm; overall good design. The titles may stay of this size, but the others I'ld make 2 or 3 p smaller. I'ld also change the colors of the in-site links. I have small difficulties to read the links, so I'ld rather make them another color (however the hover color white is ok!) Further myself I usually put my menu bar below the logo, but that's just my personal opinion, and very subjective To end with, just a tip: make a link of your logo to your homepage. Because so many sites do this, people get used to that, and always try the logo to go the homepage. (Make sure you add a border="0" attribute to your image, as else the design slightly might change .. and that's not the intension of course ) Hope this all helps for you hans
