Where's the turntables, where's the big black discs in cardboard sheets??? Where's the time I grew up in?
Ive got two oldschool turntables but I must admit I have slipped into the modern as well. Ive been using Reason and Fruity Loops to mix it up. The days of the street dj are slipping away.
i still use good old fashion Technics 1210's, screw cds and ipods you cant get better then the old fashioned way
I agree, (and for the record do not use cd's or ipods) but you have to admit that some of this software coming out can make some sick ass sounds and loops.
I dont know about keeping the old ways, when I saw a 10 year old scratching on morning tv that was it.
I'd feel very cheesy to be dj'ing with two ipods arranged in that clean-cut case. Everything else being equal, I'd support a DJ with 2 turntables. It's more work for him/her but to me real (and rare) vinyl adds to both sound and the atmosphere a lot. I am very old skool, I guess...
Is this the one you mean? http://iskon.hr/glazba/najava/page/2005/02/21/0415006.html (nudity for those who cares)
I was referring to the "sick ass"... I just cant understand how thats a good thing But yea, dont worry about it. As for the vinyl question. I know a jamaican guy in Guelph ontario who does it for me for $15/ea. I think thats pretty cheap, because we only usually get 10 made to hang on walls and stuff Nobody who would buy my music would listen to it on LP anyway.
Ahh, no I dont understand it either but it feels good to say. 15 bucks isnt bad at all. Does he have a site?
Not topless... but she mixes a mean jungle set http://www.google.com/search?q=dj+r...ient=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official
