DivineWriters.com (godaddy, 6 February 2012) is an article distribution web site, with more than 110,000 articles and 17,000 authors. I am selling site because of recurring health issues; am unable to continue to grow or maintain the site.
I actively promoted site, with submissions to more than 3,000 sites; submission list available as well as more than 350 social media sites. Google Dashboard reports 618 external and 462,468 internal links. Google Alerts reports about 45 items a day, with about 2/3 from other sites and 1/3 internal. SEOmoz recognizes 193 external links.

Page Views per StatCounter to 18 September 2010 (visitors)
    30-day count: 140,980 (65,381)
    60-day count: 243,659 (123,822)
    90-day count: 364,465 (184,788)

Alexa Traffic Rank to 18 September 2010
    30-day rank: 130,456
    90-day rank: 137,638

    Google PR0; mozRank=3.71, PA=39 and DA=82.

Unique Articles plug-in adds about 800 new articles per day. On average, about 50 new articles and 27 new authors added directly, each day. I have no idea about how articles are taken, as the site is currently free to submit and take with registration.

    Not monetized or otherwise developed.

BIN set at $749. Serious offers made via PM. Send questions via PM, too.

Preferred payment is Escrow.com or escrow at Moneybookers.com; I cover the fees. A bank draft or money order is acceptable, too. We can discuss Paypal, if you have a verified account. Other payment options open to discussion.

Sale includes domain name and all site files.

Offer on DP ends 9 pm, New York City time, on 26 September 2010 or when sold.

Why didn't you just "Buy it Now" by clicking the button on the site instead of sending a private email? By not clicking the "Buy it Now" button, the sale listing was open to other buyers. What is Digital Point's view on sales like this?

Because we agreed that I pay part now and another part to 10/01. If I pay part before someone clicks BIN, the site sold to me. I've paid long before your BIN.

If this agreement was in force, why was the site still available for sale this morning? If you had an agreement with the seller, why was the listing not removed from the active sale listings?

I contacted the seller last night with my interest in purchasing the site at the BIN and he replied to my questions at 2AM in the morning. When I look at the listing, I see the following:

"Congratulations, you are the winner! You can pay by clicking here."

According to a public message board, I am the winner?

See it. This is our log from PM:

"Hi ... sure $150 by Monday midnight on 20 September 2010, New York City time.
    How will you pay?
When I receive your down payment, I will declare the sale over and post to that effect on DP.
If someone pays BIN and the funds clear before your down payment clears, the site is theirs.
Seems we have a deal and my physicians thank you very much.
    Thanks.
    george "
After this and before my payment drgeorgep was go to the sleep. When he sleepped, I'm paid money and he haven't time to change status of this topic.
I'm paid this summ of money. I think, this site sold to me.

Okay, I'll contact the seller now and ask for his opinion but I'm not pleased. If you wanted to purchase the site, you could have clicked on the "BUY IT NOW" and then made arrangements with the seller for a down payment and/or partial payments.
