One of the benefits of an obvious niche month like December is how it can instruct you in developing new niches for other times of the year. Some niches do so poorly, while others tend to skyrocket. The contrast in monthly site value can really stand out. Many of my sites are down in adsense revenue this month. My retail sites are too new to have much of a traffic following and I really do not have any Holiday sites. But next December, I will have something Christmasy... Yet one site is beginning to perk up - my skiing site and that is not a surprise, is it? Winter time and winter sport - but what will happen to this site in the summer? I will need to make a niche site to balance out the loss of revenue from skiing during the summer months. Maybe I will do a site on swimming or tennis or something hot. If you are experiencing a drop this month in adsense $$, think about creating a site that will excel in December, next year. And if you have a hot niche this month, think of creating a site to balance it during those parts of the year when that niche isn't of peak interest. Examine your niche portfolio (whether it is one site or a hundred) and think of the opposites that might complement them during the next calender year.
Good idea, and I want to have another new site next year, but now i am busy in my old one that captures my time.
my website does best when there are holidays cause its when most users are online ( fansite for online game ).
