    so i have my link wheel setup like this:

    Tier 1 = money site
    Tier 2 = 6 web 2.0 site like squidoo, xanga, etc
    Tier 3 = social bookmarking site and article directories.

    We're not really trying to SEO and Rank high on SERP for tier 2 right? just pour as much backlinks in tier 2 and link to tier 1?

    It seem to be normal, you'll surely get back links in Tier 2 and boost your ranking using Tier 3... sad to say link wheel is not that effective...
