I'd like to proudly invite anyone and everyone into the public beta of the new hotness in social networking ... I call it neighbr. The NEIGHBR Network is a microblog platform where you can share notes, images, video, links, and code snippets with your neighbrs, or simply save them online for future reference. Nowhere in the neighbrhood will you find a "nofollow" link, either. It's great for spreading the word about your websites, providing support, or whatever else you can think of utilizing it for, and it's only getting better! So, hop on over and secure your spot in the neighbrhood! http://neighbr.net/
I checked out your site, I don't understand. Can you explain it better? I understand twitter but you lost me on this...

Twitter is a place where you can share text and links (shortened ones) with your friends and colleagues. Neighbr is the same kind of idea, only you can share a plethora of items directly on the site, instead of linking through a tinyurl.
it happened again: twitter came up with the original idea and now we have "followers". What do you think, do followers have same potential or "there is only one" here. I like the website design though, great layout and usability
Because you have a char limit, you can't post code snippets (It's geared towards a white collar / business oriented audience, but I can't share my code or help my colleagues with theirs quickly and efficiently?), you can't post images, you can't post videos. You can't gain backlinks with any weight from Twitter, either. You are able to do so in the neighbrhood. If you are familiar with Pownce (recently closed when Kevin Rose and other developers left) you will understand what type of website and community I am striving for. Neighbr is Twitter on roids.
Good look to you. But without VC funding you'll never beat twitter. Incidentally, twitter clones in China are doing better than twitter itself.
Ops, he got banned before giving everyone response here, I don't know if it was a part of his plan Rolf: good look or good luck?
