Having seen both "Avatar" and "District 9" Both movies are really great in their own right. The Blu-Ray of District 9 is really outstanding. The "Prawns" (CGI alien creatues) look really awesome, and more realistic on a HDTV 1080p system--on a smaller screen (42" to 50") than they did in the theater. Also, it has some outstanding performances by the South African cast. Love the Special Features -- lots of interesting bits. over 20 minutes of deleted scenes, and all of them worth seeing. My favorite bit (in one of the "Making Of" featurettes) was seeing the Vikus guy (Sharlto Copley) eating spaghetti in the commissary, wearing his prawn hand. Funny stuff! Until AVATAR comes out on Blu-Ray, probably next summer -- I'm going to recommend District 9 as one of the best Blu-Ray movies so far.
Avatar The movie is just wondreful no words seriously.. i slut the whole team behind it I was also big fan of D9 ut now the Avatar
