Distributed web tools over domains or one 'tools resource' site?

I have written and am writing various sorts of online tools. These things include bandwidth tests, tricks to get more value out of sites like youtube and myspace, other oddball online tools and whatnot.

I can't decide whether to give each tool its own domain name and keep them 'orphaned' or to pull them all together into one site. The tools appeal to slightly different audiences in some cases, so it's a tough call for someone like me with little experience in marketing.

What do you think? I currently have a blog where I post up techy articles every now and then. I am thinking of publishing all my tools into that site rather than seperate domains...

Furthermore, I can't decide on themes. Currently my tools have all different themes. If I were to bring them together into one site, should I redo all their themes to match each other or do you think differing themes for each tool is acceptable?

Any suggestions appreciated! Even 2-cent-worth suggestions :)

I think you should put them all on one domain name and change the themes to make them constant. If your resources are useful (and they seem to be,) the site would probably be mentioned a lot in different places which would help build your site as a recognised name and probably help you with your Search Engine Ranking.

    Good luck.

I would put them on one site and advertise each seperately.

Make each tool a page and add in a lot of content telling how to use etc.

Also do you do any work for hire??

PM me as I have somethings I would like written

    Peace

Suggestions very much appreciated folks. I'm on your side too. I feel that 'orphaning' each script would have a negative effect unless one individual script is highly noteworthy...

Sem-Advance, I am not a professional programmer (Mostly just dabbling in PHP for enjoyment) but I will PM you to see if I can help out :)
